When did walking become EXERCISE ?

Walking is a function of being human, we walk from point A to point B, there
really are not any fitness benefits to walking besides the normal every day
If you are not walking for whatever reason you have fallen bellow the basics
of sustaining normal human function.
Light exercise is gardening, cleaning, fixing things riding a bicycle.
Moderate exercise is playing a sport, jogging
And vigorous exercise is running, lifting weights.
Getting your body in shape is a combination of all the exercises listed
Don’t kid yourself aging is a process of degeneration of all bodily
functions if you want to put the brakes on and actually start to get in
shape get to the gym and do the exact opposite of what you like doing.
